In1960's pakistan cinema industry was at its peak. The movies released at that time were far batter than bollywood movies and people use to watch one movie 3 times in the cinema in a day.they were so crazy about movies.cinema was the only source of entertainment at that time.
Then in 1990's our industry had a fall and the cinem culture began to fall down,most of the cinemas in old lahore were demolished and were turned to commercial plazas.Indian cinema industry took a boost and were soon far better than pakistani movies.From that day till now pakistani movies had a very bad time.In these conditions pakistani cinemas needed a boost and that boost was provided by a very intellegent director shoaib mansoor.with his first movie.khuda kay leay!.
The movie was a.super hit and was like a support for the cinem industry of pakistan.This intellegent mind didnt end here,shoaib mansoor released another movie(bol). This movie broke all the previous records set by indian and pakistani movies,by doing a business of 25 million in 6 days.we can call this movie as one of the best ever made in the history of pakistan cinema industry.
Will the efforts of a legend director bring back the peak of pakistan cinema industry?will this movie be the first step of the ladder?
